Registered Nurse (RN)This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) on a Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing excellent patient care while managing a variety of responsibilities, including EKG monitoring and care for patients with primarily medical-surgical needs.ScheduleShift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)Every Other Weekend (EOW) requiredHoliday rotation includedResponsibilitiesExecuting duties as Charge Nurse when neededFloating to other units as requiredAdministering blood products and managing peripheral linesStarting and maintaining IVsCare management for heparin, insulin, and PCA devicesDelivering patient care with isolation precautions when necessaryUtilizing Rapid Response Teams effectivelyConducting EKG monitoring and interpretationQualificationsCurrent BLS certification requiredPrevious charge nurse experience requiredMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience requiredExperience managing a patient ratio of 1:6EPIC charting experience preferredMust be willing to pass an EKG examination during onboardingTravel experience is requiredSkills RequiredEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage complex patient care needsProficient in using medical technology, including BiPAP/CPAPKnowledge of wound care practicesProficient in blood product administration and IV protocolsAdditional InformationMust be adaptable to float to various locations as neededModules and additional training may be required during orientationMust submit required documentation regarding past experience and qualificationsClient Details City Greensboro State NC
