Job Description
Title
Operating Room RN - Operating Room

Schedule
- Shift: 3x12 day shifts; start times vary (either 06:45-19:15 or 09:00-21:30)
- Weekend requirement: Yes

Assignment Details
- Assignment length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks

Requirements
- Must have a valid state RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Experience with trauma Level I preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS & CNOR preferred
- Experience in scrub roles across various specialties including general surgery, ortho/spine, neuro, vascular, urology, ENT, gyn, and pediatrics
- Experience with robotic-assisted cases (Da Vinci Xi, Mazor)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Assist in surgical procedures, including preparation and sterilization of instruments.
- Monitor patient status and respond to emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.

Compliance / Notes
- Submission requirements include SSN, DOB, and RTO.
- Traveler must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
- Housing options may be limited; candidates are advised to secure housing prior to the start.
