We are seeking a board-certified Neurologist for a temporary telehealth position near Ovando, Montana. This locum tenens assignment offers a flexible, fully remote work setup, making it an excellent option for neurologists with a current MT license who are interested in providing virtual care from any location. Help support a regional healthcare system while enjoying the convenience of telemedicine.
Position Overview:- Location : Remote telehealth coverage for patients near Ovando, Montana
- Assignment Dates : December 23, 2024 - December 27, 2024
- Daily Schedule : Coverage is required from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility up to 5 hours daily
- Shifts and Hours : Variable hours per day; no guaranteed daily minimum
- Licensure : Must have an active MT license and a license in the state of practice location if out-of-state
- Certification : Board certification in Neurology is required
- Practice Setting : Fully remote telehealth position
- Experience : Fellowship-trained neurologists preferred but not mandatory
- Credentialing : Approximately 30 days needed for credentialing, with temporary privileges available
- Patient Care : Provide tele-neurology consultations and virtual diagnostic services for patients in Montana
- Core Skills Needed :
- Brain death examinations
- Thrombolytic therapy
- EEG, EMG, and NCV testing
- Lumbar punctures and diagnostic taps
- Peripheral nerve blocks, Botox administration, and pain management techniques are preferred
- Supervision : No teaching or supervision of residents or advanced practice providers required
- EMR : Facility uses Epic
- Certifications : Level 2 Trauma and Stroke Certified
- Holidays Observed : This assignment excludes major holiday coverage
- Equipment : Required telehealth equipment will be provided to the provider
- Insurance : Coverage provided by the vendor
- Travel : No travel required as the position is entirely remote
