As a Med/Surg Float Pool RN, you'll be a key player in a fast‑paced, ever‑evolving environment, delivering care across a variety of units, including Orthopedics, Medical/Telemetry, Observation, Surgical, and Oncology. Schedule: This position is scheduled for 60 hours per two‑week pay period, 12 hour night shifts (7pm–7:30am), with every third weekend required (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). As an added bonus, Float Pool RNs receive an additional $2.00 per hour. Responsibilities Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes. Collaborates with patient, family and other health team members to develop a nursing plan as part of an integrated, comprehensive plan of care. Develops an individualized plan based on age, social and cultural considerations, condition and other relevant needs. Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes. Collaborates and communicates effectively and respectfully with the patient, family and members of the health care team within and across care settings to promote partnership‑based health care. Demonstrates the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes. Promotes a culture of evidence‑based practice (EBP). Required Qualifications MN Registered Nurse (RN) License. Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. 1 year experience.
