Staff Pharmacist | Glen Burnie, Maryland

A Specialty Pharmacy focused on behavioral medications is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a full-time position during the day shift in Baltimore, MD. This contract role offers a dynamic environment with a supportive team and the opportunity to work with a significant patient volume.

• Baltimore, MD

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Position Details:

• Full-time pharmacist needed; alternatively, two part-time pharmacists can split the shift
• Contract duration: 4 weeks from start date
• Work volume: 100-200 prescriptions per day
• Program system used: PioneerRX
• Support staff: 5 pharmacy technicians and 1 specialty pharmacist

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on medication use and safety
• Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active, clear Maryland State Pharmacist license with no disciplinary history
• Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy preferred
• Strong knowledge of behavioral medication management beneficial
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
