Possesses fundamental understanding of basic software/systems analysis, design, and performance principles. Discusses technical issues competently with team members and develops technical recommendations based on options presented. Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:

• Participates in analysis/design assignments using specifications assigned by higher-level employees.
• Analyzes system requirements and be able to implement, configure and test applications.
• Assists with the efficient and reliable operation of small production applications.
• Develops a good understanding of the business or function for which the application is designed.
• Assists in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems impacting the applications performance.
• Participates in preparing detailed specifications based on analysis of problems.
• Participate in system and disaster recovery testing to ensure technical requirements are met.

Minimum Requirements:

Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR Associate's degree with 2 years system analyst related experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years system analyst related experience

Work Experience: Minimum of 4 years system analyst related experience (in addition to any experience identified in education section)
