Position Summary

• The Senior Category Manager Cloud Software Digital Services is responsible for developing and executing commercial and sourcing strategies across MiniMeds enterprise technology spend Need a rockstar candidate
• This role leads complex commercial negotiations competitive sourcing contracting strategy and value creation across cloud services enterprise software SaaS software licensing and digital applications
• We are seeking an accomplished commercial negotiator and highly disciplined executor who can operate effectively in a fastpaced environment with a significant volume of simultaneous contracts renewals negotiations and business requests
• The successful candidate must be exceptionally organized able to manage competing priorities maintain visibility to a large pipeline of commercial activity and consistently deliver highquality work with rapid turnaround and a strong sense of urgency
• This role partners closely with IT Finance Legal Cybersecurity Privacy and the IT Vendor Management Office The Vendor Management Office owns ongoing supplier performance and operational governance this position is focused on category strategy sourcing commercial negotiation contracting and value creation

• Independently lead complex highvalue commercial negotiations with major global technology suppliers in a highly regulates industry
• Develop factbased negotiation strategies utilizing benchmarking competitive intelligence supplier economics historical spend demand forecasts and alternative solutions

• Negotiate beyond price to optimize total economics and contractual flexibility including pricing volume tiers consumption commitments renewal caps price protections license portability trueups termination rights data portability audit provisions commercial remedies and exit rights
• Challenge supplier pricing models annual escalators minimum commitments restrictive licensing provisions and structures that create unnecessary cost or supplier lockin
• HighVelocity Contract Execution
• Manage a high volume of contracts renewals sourcing activities and negotiations simultaneously frequently involving competing deadlines and businesscritical priorities
• Maintain disciplined ownership of the commercial pipeline including contract status renewal dates negotiation milestones outstanding decisions dependencies and required actions

• Move multiple complex negotiations forward concurrently without losing attention to detail
• Rapidly prioritize requests based on business impact financial value risk and urgency
• Provide fast responsive turnaround to internal stakeholders while maintaining commercial rigor

• Identify and escalate roadblocks early to prevent unnecessary delays
• Drive stakeholders and suppliers toward decisions commitments and closure
• Maintain accurate documentation and clear visibility to status across a significant contract workload
