Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Tuscaloosa. This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with bills of lading , forklift operation , and a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including proper documentation such as bills of lading (BOLs)

• Load and unload materials using a forklift and other warehouse equipment

• Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems as needed

• Ensure materials are stored properly and warehouse is kept clean and organized

• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies

• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards at all times

• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tuscaloosa, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
