About The Mobile Health Unit

Our Mobile Women’s Health Unit delivers essential preventive and screening services, including mammography, cervical cancer screening, and comprehensive women’s health evaluations, to communities throughout the Yakima Valley. This program was created to reduce barriers to care and ensure that women across the region have equitable access to high ‑ quality health services, regardless of distance, transportation challenges, or clinic availability.

As the Nurse Practitioner for this mobile unit, you will play a central role in bringing compassionate, patient ‑ centered care directly to the community. Because the care environment is a mobile clinic rather than a traditional facility, we are seeking an experienced NP who is comfortable working in a smaller, non ‑ traditional space and who thrives in a dynamic, community ‑ focused setting.

You will serve as the sole Nurse Practitioner on the unit, supported by a dedicated team consisting of a Medical Assistant, Receptionist, and a Mammography Technician.

Position Details

• Proudly serving a largely migrant and Latino community
• Certified bilingual Medical Assistant dedicated to assisting in translation and patient care
• 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
• EMR system is EPIC

Position Highlights

• Base compensation $141k - $155k. Additional earnings from productivity and patient satisfaction measures should be expected.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral Degree - Nurse Practitioner
• 2+ years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner
