SEASONAL HI‐LO LIFT OPERATOR (Queens, NY)
Starting Pay: $22.54–$23.63/hr.
JOB DUTIES:
- Load and unload trucks and trailers using a hi‐lo/lift/forklift
- Move product, shells, and pallets throughout the warehouse
- Perform general warehousing tasks including pallet handling, dock loading and unloading, production forklift operation, truck stripping, replenishment, picking product, recycling, repack, and general cleaning
- Operate and handle large moving equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean loading areas by disposing of trash in designated receptacles
- Achieve and maintain required case pick rates per hour
- Perform other job‐related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Warehouse experience (1+ year) or equivalent job duties
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and related machinery
- Ability to work in interior and exterior warehouse environments
- Ability to perform physical job duties including standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and repeated equipment operation
- Ability to operate hi‐lo/lift/forklift equipment
- Education level equivalent to high school diploma or GED
