Job Title: Registered Nurse Electrophysiology Profession: RN Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Electrophysiology License: Current RN licensure Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Prior Electrophysiology Lab experience - Experience assisting with cardiac device implants (Pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices) - Experience with electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures - Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills - Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our growing Electrophysiology Lab team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both cardiac device procedures and electrophysiology ablation cases. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced procedural environment. The Electrophysiology RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. This includes device implants and ablations. The position focuses on supporting the electrophysiology team and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes throughout the procedural process. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after electrophysiology procedures. Monitor patients throughout electrophysiology and device procedures. Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Maintain procedural documentation and uphold all regulatory and quality standards. Support patient education and discharge planning as appropriate.
