Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid NY SLP License
  • Active TSSLD Certification
  • SLP-CCC credentials
  • Experience supporting pediatric populations, ideally within school environments
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Compassionate, patient, and communicative, with a commitment to inclusivity

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to students with Autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down Syndrome
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary school teams, parents, and caregivers
  • Provide both in-person and remote therapy services in accordance with student needs
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation as required by state and district guidelines
  • Offer guidance and support for classroom communication strategies and accommodations
