Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid NY SLP License
- Active TSSLD Certification
- SLP-CCC credentials
- Experience supporting pediatric populations, ideally within school environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Compassionate, patient, and communicative, with a commitment to inclusivity
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to students with Autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down Syndrome
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary school teams, parents, and caregivers
- Provide both in-person and remote therapy services in accordance with student needs
- Maintain detailed records and documentation as required by state and district guidelines
- Offer guidance and support for classroom communication strategies and accommodations
