Your work will include developing optimized approaches for program evaluation, strategy formulation, cost analyses, operational frameworks, and treaty compliance imperatives. You’ll conduct detailed data collection, assessment, and modeling to identify vulnerabilities, assess risk, and recommend strategies to deliver innovative, mission‑critical change. Through collaboration with DoD leaders, military personnel, and cross‑functional teams, you’ll facilitate informed decision‑making to support nuclear deterrence policy, strategic readiness initiatives, and logistics optimization. Your proactive contributions will help manage evolving challenges, strengthen national resilience, and streamline defense program evaluation and execution. Qualifications Experience formulating and applying modeling techniques such as mathematical modeling, operations research, or optimization methods to support nuclear enterprise policy development and defense decision‑making. Knowledge of U.S. nuclear deterrence frameworks, systems, strategic policy, and operational readiness priorities within the Department of Defense. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to create decision support frameworks, time‑cost analyses, and logistical models aligned with complex defense missions. TS/SCI clearance. HS diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications Experience coordinating with senior government and military leaders to provide operational insights, readiness evaluations, and improvement recommendations for nuclear deterrence programs. Knowledge of JCIDS, MDMP, or other defense planning and evaluation methodologies. Ability to translate complex technical and analytical data into clear policy and operational recommendations for decision‑making purposes. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, National Security Studies, or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant analytical and database management certification. Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation Salary range: $112,800 to $257,000 (annualized USD). The range reflects location, education, skills, experience, and organizational needs. Work Model Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility. Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
