Registered NurseGlen Ellyn School District 41 is seeking a registered nurse at Hadley Jr High. Under the supervision of the building administrators and certified school nurses, the registered nurse ensures that direct nursing services are provided to students and staff members to maximize health and wellness in the school. All duties must be performed in accordance with district and state board of education policies as well as state law regarding nursing practice.Qualifications:Minimum of Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, education, or a related fieldIllinois registered nurse licenseCurrent CPR-AED certification, preferredComputer literacyCompetency in the use of medical technologyIllinois Vision and Hearing Technician Certification, preferredExperience in Early Childhood (Ages 3-4)Rate of pay: Salary is commensurate with experience. Starting rate of pay is: $30.00 per hourWork Calendar: To be determined annually - School calendar plus additional days in August for training and a half day in June for closureWork Hours: 8:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.Employment Expectations: All District 41 employees are expected to maintain high standards in their school relationships, to demonstrate integrity and honesty, to be considerate and cooperative, and to maintain professional relationships with students, parents, staff members, and others.
