Specialty Representative/Sr Specialty Representative - Cardiovascular, Springfield, IL

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for cardiovascular products in the Springfield, Illinois territory. The role involves communicating clinical product knowledge to healthcare professionals, executing sales strategy, and managing customer relationships in a complex payer environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical knowledge of Amgen cardiovascular products to healthcare providers and communicate benefits
• Execute branded sales messages, conduct medical educational programs, and achieve sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and manage customer relationships, address reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
• Analyze territory performance, provide feedback on marketing strategy, and partner with District Manager on planning
• Share best practices with colleagues and maintain focus on patient impact throughout sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or High school diploma with 6 years sales experience
• For Senior role: Bachelor's degree with 3 years sales or clinical healthcare experience, or equivalent with Associate's/High school diploma
• Preferred: 3+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience
• Preferred: Prior product or hospital sales in specialty areas including cardiology, oncology, or related therapeutic fields
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and results-driven capabilities
