Composite Mechanic

, working to structural repair manuals, component maintenance manuals and aircraft maintenance manuals, as well as other approved repair instructions from the manufacturer or airline customer. Demonstrates technical expertise in fabricating assemblies, reworks and repairs non-metallic parts, assemblies and aircraft applying knowledge of working characteristics of non-metallic materials and bonding techniques. Performs rework/repair in keeping with the Engineering intent through use of electronic media (work instructions, model-based definitions, specifications, requirements documents, MRB dispositions, etc.). Perform complete inspection, including first part review of procured or fabricated parts and assemblies Initiate and document any non-conforming condition for Material Review Board action. Must have experience with Taper sanding, lay-up, septum core remove and replace capabilities. 5+ years' of experience in Composite Repair is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ateeca Inc
