Pay Range $18.47 - $20.62 Plus Weekly Production Bonus Closing Date: 8/5/26 Basic Job Functions: Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Troubleshooting repair, to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues pertaining to machinery and equipment including upgrades to wiring and conduit. Part fabrication; designing, machining, and fabricating specialty parts for repairs that cannot be typically ordered. Analyze problems, tear down machinery and equipment, replace or repair parts and reassemble. Use grinders, drill presses, mechanical hand and power tools, electrical gauges and hand tools to perform duties and work with various material handling devices to transport materials to and from work locations. Identifying problems and analyzing or reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options to choose the most appropriate solution. Perform a wide variety of duties in the installation, maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment involving electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related trade activities while following equipment prescribed safety rules regulations and maintaining quality standards. Attends internal and external training courses required to establish safe maintenance operations. Overhead crane inspection certifications, NFPA Arc Flash, and electrical safety are examples of training required. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to achieve crane certification. Ability to achieve fork lift certification 2 years of Industrial maintenance experience Strong commitment to safety in all job aspects Strong verbal communication Strong ability to analyze and think strategically. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to contribute effectively in a team environment. Must have high school diploma or GED. Dependable/Flexible to rotating shifts Preferred Qualifications: Technical school or formal training school Knowledge of the job Industrial or Mechanical experience Knowledge with 480,277, 200, and 110, volt circuits and VED.
