Wylie Dental Care Glen Dale, WV is expanding fast – Looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant. Offered salary and other compensation: Depending on your experience and performance record, we offer a yearly salary of $25,000 to $60,000. Additionally, we offer:

Our Location: 1589 Wheeling Ave. Glen Dale, WV 26038.

Dental Assistant's schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30, and occasionally 2 nights on full mouth reconstruction overruns.

Your Mission as Dental Assistant: If you have no experience, we will train you to become a top-notch dental assistant. You will help make happy patients who are dentally sound, completely comfortable as far as their mouth is concerned, and refer others into the practice. Keeping the patient calm and comfortable by communicating what we are doing while understanding how the patient is doing, so that the patient is not undergoing undue stress. Some of our Dental Assistant's duties and responsibilities:

• Keeping the patient calm and comfortable by communicating what we are doing.
• Accurate gathering of data, through impressions, intraoral scans, assisting or suctioning for the dentist in a 4 handed dentistry scenario with 1 assistant and 1 dentist, or a 6 handed dentistry scenario, 2 assistants and 1 dentist.
• Learning the names of the instruments and be able to hand them to the dentist during the procedure, as well as put them back into the cassette and keep them together through the sterilization process.
• Learn to set up and clean up rooms before and after all procedures.
• Work in the office dental lab to poor up the models after the impressions have been taken.
• Scan them into the computer with a box scanner.
• More advanced: Design crowns and larger prostheses on a computer design software and help mill and prepare the prostheses for the clinic, by polishing etc.

Required experience and qualifications:

• Some dental experience is helpful but not required – we will train you.
• No college or degree needed.
• Graphic design, art, or gaming background is a plus.
