Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled X-ray/Radiologic Technologist with cath lab experience to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. The role involves supporting interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate C-Arm machines and other fluoroscopy equipment to assist in various procedures.
• Assist in cath lab procedures including PCIs, Impella and balloon pump device insertions.
• Maintain routine lead and fluoroscopy device safety and functionality.
• Prepare and assist with IR procedures such as nephrostomy, PICC, permacath, pacemaker insertions, and cerebral thrombectomy.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper documentation during procedures.
• Support 24-hour call coverage, including weekends, with timely response within 30 minutes of notification.

Qualifications:

• Hold current NJ ARRT license or equivalent certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in working fluoroscopy and operating C-Arm machinery.
• Prior experience in cath lab or interventional radiology preferred.
• Certified in radiologic technology with strong understanding of IR procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to patient safety.
