Job Description
Gastroenterology Office Nurse - RN

Schedule:
- 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (M-F)
- 8:00 AM - Noon (Saturday, on Rotation)

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 143 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: None

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by New Hampshire Board of Nursing verified via Nursys.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
- Experience in nursing (new graduates not accepted).

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote overall wellness.
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and ethical work environment.
