FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: EPIC

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: FNP board certified through ANCC or AANP (or PA certified through NCCPA)
Licenses: Active DEA registration with Mississippi Controlled Substance Prescribing Authority (CSPA) and Mississippi address
DEA / CDS: Active DEA and Mississippi CSPA required
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years Emergency Medicine experience as an FNP or PA
Other Qualifications: Case logs covering the previous 2 years and proof of CME completion required

DUTIES & RESONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Perform minor procedures and treatments in accordance with scope of practice.
Collaborate with attending physicians and healthcare team for patient management.
Document all patient encounters accurately in EPIC electronic medical record.
Maintain compliance with credentialing, certifications, and hospital requirements.
