Pre-Suit Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Pre-Suit Attorney for its Columbia, South Carolina office. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in personal injury law, focusing on pre-litigation processes. The attorney will work closely with experienced lawyers and manage a team of case managers. Duties Handle all pre-litigation work daily Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process Guide clients through the case process Draft and file pre-litigation documents Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation Manage the release approval process Supervise a team of 6-10 case managers Focus on personal injury cases, primarily automotive Drive compliance and KPIs among the team Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements Requirements Law degree from a fully accredited law school Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association (SC) 2+ years of personal injury experience Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases Excellent client service and communication skills Strong leadership skills Self-starter driven by long-term career goals Superior writing and oral advocacy skills Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree Certifications State Bar Association membership (SC) Skills Client service excellence Strong communication Leadership and team management Writing and oral advocacy Benefits Medical and dental insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off Paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
