As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed CPR Patrol in Florence, NJ , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri09:15 AM - 07:15 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as assigned, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed. Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
