About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Advanced skills in scrubbing and monitoring cases. Description: The unit has 2 procedure rooms and 5 holding beds. Patient ratios are 1:1. Standard Cath Lab and IR equipment are used. Documentation is managed through Meditech and Mac Lab. Mon-Fri scheduling from 07:00 to 15:30 is required, along with weekday and weekend call. The unit performs cardiac catheterizations, device implants, vascular procedures, interventional radiology procedures, and special procedures. The facility is recognized for providing community healthcare services. It offers 24-hour emergency care, a sleep center, and a women's imaging center. The organization is engaged in health education through health fairs and no-cost screenings for common medical conditions. It has received several nationally recognized accreditations and awards for quality patient care.
