Entry-Level Opportunity for a Recent Law School Graduate

Position Overview

Our firm is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our Memphis office. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or newly licensed attorney who is ready to build practical legal experience, receive hands-on mentorship, and contribute meaningfully to client matters from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Assist attorneys with case preparation, client communications, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial-related tasks.
• Review and analyze facts, records, contracts, discovery responses, and other case materials.
• Help manage deadlines, filings, calendars, and matter updates in coordination with attorneys and support staff.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and internal team members.
• Develop litigation, negotiation, writing, and client-management skills under the supervision of experienced attorneys.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Recent law school graduate encouraged to apply; prior attorney experience is not required.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee, awaiting Tennessee bar results, or eligible for admission in Tennessee.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Professional judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Interest in working collaboratively in a client-focused law firm environment.
