Maintenance Technician

TOPS Staffing is hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for a well-established manufacturing company. We are looking for hands-on maintenance professionals with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience working on industrial production equipment. Candidates with either strong electrical or strong mechanical maintenance experience are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have a combination of both skill sets.

Available Schedules: First hire will have choice of schedule they prefer: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 2-2-3 Schedule | 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (offers 8hrs of OT pay every other week)

Pay: Up to $33+/hour based on experience and skill level

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues
• Work with 3-phase, 480V electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
• Disassemble and reassemble production machinery
• Perform equipment installations and repairs
• Support production uptime through fast and effective troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and industrial equipment repair
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics required
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Welding experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to read prints and schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree or technical training in maintenance is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing throughout shift
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
