Practice Overview Serve as the sole General Surgeon with the opportunity to build and grow the surgical service line. There is potential for a part time surgeon as well as the current surgeon may stay on as .5 FTE. Goal of 40-50 cases per month after 1-year ramp up, with additional growth expected from surrounding communities. Broad general surgery case mix with opportunities to expand services and develop referral relationships. Solo call with locum support coordinated to allow for planned time away. Schedule Dedicated OR block time with approximately 2-3 clinic days per week. Standard weekday schedule with no routine weekend clinic. Flexible Fall 2026 start date. Full-time preferred; part-time may be considered. Compensation & Benefits $500,000-$550,000 guaranteed base salary , based on experience. Productivity bonus of $66.67 per wRVU above 7,500 annually. $50,000 sign-on bonus plus $10,000 relocation assistance and temporary housing support. Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, malpractice, 401(k), CME, and paid time off. Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery. Comfortable practicing independently in a rural setting. Experienced surgeons preferred; exceptional new graduates will be considered.
