Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join an esteemed medical team at a premier pediatric hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a wide range of pediatric surgical procedures, ensuring precise and safe delivery tailored to the unique needs of children.
• Monitor pediatric patients closely before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the surgical process.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative care, managing patient recovery from anesthesia with a focus on pediatric-specific protocols.
• Maintain accurate, detailed anesthesia records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Adhere strictly to established guidelines, protocols, and safety standards, with a particular emphasis on pediatric care.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Pediatric anesthesia experience is preferred but not mandatory; training and support will be provided to ensure success in this specialized role.
