Employment Type Casual Employee (per diem, hourly clinician role) 8–23 patient care hours per week Benefits ineligible What You’ll Be Working On Seeing patients with a broad array of needs and conducting acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel‑building role) Treating patients in‑office and occasionally conducting tele‑health visits Collaborating with in‑office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams Utilizing specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in‑office procedures Education, Licenses, and Experience Required Enrolled in or completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program, with at least 2 of the last 5 years practiced in an outpatient primary care setting Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; if not yet board certified, must be a Board Eligible resident or have completed a residency within the last calendar year and be scheduled to take the next available board exam State licensed in Massachusetts, obtained before the One Medical start date Additional Qualities for One Medical Providers A passion for human‑centered primary care The ability to communicate and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds The ability to use technology to deliver high‑quality care Clinical proficiency in evidence‑based primary care The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses Confidence in navigating uncertain situations with patients and colleagues Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs Casual/Per Diem Provider Benefits Malpractice insurance – practice covered 100% UpToDate subscription – evidence‑based clinical research tool One Medical–issued laptop for secure EHR access Sick time PTO, eligible in accordance with local requirements This is an hourly role based in Boston, Massachusetts. One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly rate for this role is $150.00. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for candidates exceeding these qualifications. The total compensation package may also include benefits.
