Computed Tomography Technologist
Become a vital part of a Springfield, OR hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment to provide timely diagnostic services for inpatient and outpatient populations. You will follow departmental protocols and work under the direction of a radiologist to perform routine diagnostic CT procedures, support biopsy and drainage studies, and assist with sterile and surgical imaging when required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience. Travel experience required for travel submissions; local candidates may not be accepted.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent accredited training.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in radiography and CT as required.
- State licensure as a radiographer in Oregon, if applicable.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Proficiency with routine diagnostic CT scanning of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and CT-guided biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Experience with contrast administration and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT system processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hospital radiology settings including OR imaging, C-arm, fluoroscopy, and portable radiography.
- Prior travel assignments and familiarity with facility onboarding processes.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Nights.
- Weekend and on-call coverage required.
- Must have at least 2 years CT experience and prior travel experience for travel submissions.
- Position requires adherence to facility payroll/payment policies for vendor payment timing.
