Supplier Quality Manager, MPG

Position Supplier Quality Manager – West Chester, OH (Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation) Responsibilities Manage, support, and oversee the performance of site Supplier Quality Engineers. Develop and manage the internal supply chain and aspects of externally provided material, including machine shop and Dominican Republic suppliers. Implement and manage the MPG Supplier Quality Manual and supplier requirements. Develop and lead the supplier evaluation and qualification program. Qualify suppliers to applicable quality/Business System standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.). Maintain a supplier visit plan to ensure adherence to the Supplier Policy Manual, industry standards, and technical standards. Conduct supplier visits, create trip reports, and maintain records. Develop and manage the Supplier Corrective Action System. Approve and disqualify suppliers when necessary. Maintain supplier audit records. Communicate quality issues or concerns with suppliers. Manage receiving inspection activities and staff, supporting conformance determinations. Develop and manage the requirements for the receiving inspection process. Report supplier performance data, including monthly meetings with management and data for supplier scorecards. Cooperate with supply chain, engineering, and QA to establish clear expectations and specifications. Provide input on the process and output for Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers. Collaborate with the supply chain on risk assessment and mitigation plans for the MPG supply chain. Partner closely with key suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives. Effectively communicate with Buyers and Engineering on supplier technical/quality issues. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work diplomatically with other departments and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Maintain thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Have knowledge of Quality System standards; AS9100, ISO 9001, etc. Possess working knowledge of relevant IPC standards (IPC‑600, 620, etc.; a plus). Have SPC and Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing knowledge (a plus). Qualifications US Citizen or Permanent Resident – Green Card Holder. Aviation, Space, or Defense industry experience. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. Five years of technical experience with electronics or electro‑mechanical systems. ASQ certification in supplier quality or quality engineering is highly desirable. Benefits Annual incentive plan (bonus). Paid vacation and sick time.
