Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Full-Time

Highlights:

• Progressive care unit specializing in post-cardiac catheterization and post-surgical patients
• Experience with high-risk medication management including cardizem, heparin, nitroglycerin, insulin, ketamine, and lidocaine drips
• Care for respiratory patients requiring NIPPV (BiPAP, AirVo)
• Comprehensive patient population requiring systematic assessment and individualized care planning
• Opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on quality patient outcomes
• Point of Care testing procedures included in scope of practice

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Current ACLS certification from AHA required
• Knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served
• Clear communication skills appropriate to developmental age of patients
• Newly hired nurses with two or less years of experience will be hired at CN I status; higher clinical ladder levels considered based on relevant experience, national certification, and advanced nursing education
