Senior AI Engagement Lead for Enterprise ROI

Key Talent Solutions (KTS Group) is partnering with a fast-moving AI company hiring an Engagement Manager to work directly with enterprise clients and senior stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone with 4–8 years of experience from MBB, top-tier consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy, operations, or a high-calibre operator background. You’ll work directly with senior enterprise stakeholders, lead forward-deployed teams on the ground, and turn ambiguous business problems into clear, high-ROI engagements. What You’ll Own: Lead the team on the ground. Forward Deployed Strategists and Engineers will report to you during the engagement, and you’ll be accountable for what they ship and how the client experiences it. Run executive cadence with CFOs, COOs and CROs. Present findings, defend recommendations and stay calm under pressure. Own the motion end-to-end: first meeting, pre-meeting brief, post-meeting follow-up, custom demo, engagement letter, deployment and expansion. Translate ambiguous business problems into engagements with clear outcomes, ROI targets and executive sponsors. Hold the line on scope when clients drift, while keeping the relationship strong. Identify expansion opportunities post-deployment and turn one engagement into three. Feed every account back into company playbooks, patterns and platform so the next engagement moves faster. Must-have profile: 4–8 years’ experience with a track record of owning 7- or 8-figure engagements at MBB, top-tier consulting, or an equivalent high-calibre environment Experience running client relationships, not just supporting workstreams Executive presence: able to hold a room of C-suite stakeholders and push back without losing trust First-principles thinker who reasons from the actual business problem, not from frameworks or templates Proven people leadership: has run teams of consultants/operators and made them better Founder or operator instincts: has built something, owned a P&L, or owned an operating function AI-native: uses AI tools daily, follows the space closely, and can scope AI implementation clearly with engineers Extreme ownership: accountable for outcomes, not just outputs Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate Comfortable with 10–20% travel to client sites Green flags: Responds quickly and clearly when the conversation shifts Gives strong, data-backed opinions and can defend them without bluffing Notices what is missing and asks the next sharp question Calm, polished delivery in C-suite conversations Sets direction independently without needing hand-holding This is not a traditional project manager role. It is for someone who can lead enterprise AI engagements, manage senior clients, guide forward-deployed teams and turn ambiguity into measurable business outcomes.
