Assisted Living Unit Manager (LPN) – Brand-New Facility Albany Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as the Unit Manager of our brand-new, state-of-the-art assisted living community . Responsibilities Unit Manager (LPN) Essential Functions Unit Manager will supervise unit, perform and provide written/verbal care assignments, routine skills and procedures to ensure the quality of care to residents Supervise and participate in the development and implementation of resident care plans Document progress and making recommendations for revisions to care plans Assist DON/ADON with the co-ordination, management and monitoring of the review of nurse's notes to determine if the care plan is being followed Supervise staff in monitor each resident’s psychological functions, fluid balance, elimination, electrolyte status, laboratory results, respiratory status, neurological status and nutritional status to detect deviations from normal and gage progress Make rounds with the physician Maintaining the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure residents rights and privacy are protected at all time Complete necessary documentation and teaching of residents for residents' admissions, transfers and discharge according to policy and procedures All other as assigned
