MRI Technologist, Per Diem

Job Summary Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner. Completes required exams, sends studies to the reading station for radiologist review, and completes all associated documentation. Performs complex diagnostic MRI procedures as requested by a licensed physician. Provides excellent patient care while producing high quality diagnostic images. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program. AMRIT and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training. Must obtain MRI Registry within 1 year of hire. BLS certification. State license if required. Preferred: Associate degree or Bachelor's degree. 1‑3 years of relevant experience. ARRT (MR) certification.
