Project Manager - Building Automation SystemsThe Project Manager facilitates the execution of project/program solution plan for clearly defined sub-projects or sub-programs. This role requires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects considered small to medium in complexity with financial impact between $100K and $2.5M.As a Project Manager, you will:Have fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.Be responsible for delivery of results for the respective process steps.Guide technical or administrative staff.Act as a functional process resource on projects or programs.Contribute to continuous improvement plan.Perform active role in maintaining functionally focused client relationships.Be responsible for several small projects.Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent.Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs.Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.Track resources and projects progress.Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager.Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provides commissioning documentation.Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development.Complete project-specific close-out documentation.Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements.Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions.You will make an impact with these qualifications:Associate degreeAbility to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customersExperience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft ProjectVerbal and written communication skills in EnglishTechnical experience in the HVAC controls industry; 3+ years preferred1+ years of experience managing projectsKnowledge and understanding of HVAC industry applications; ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagramsKnowledge of industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnetPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree3+ years of technical experience in the HVAC controls industryPrevious experience in construction management or building automation.Ready to create your own journey?
