What You'll Do Conduct school-based PT evaluations and re-evaluations Develop individualized, functional IEP goals Provide direct physical therapy services Support gross motor development, mobility, gait, balance, and coordination Evaluate and recommend adaptive equipment and positioning supports Consult with teachers and staff on physical access, mobility, and safe transfer strategies Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary school teams Maintain accurate service documentation and progress notes What You’ll Bring DPT or MPT from an accredited physical therapy program NPTE board exam passage Active Washington PT license, or documented initiation of licensure transfer Knowledge of IDEA, the IEP process, and the educational model of physical therapy School-based experience, pediatric PT training, and experience with adaptive equipment are preferred.
