ESL Class Leader — Refugee Students & Volunteers

We are in need of individuals that have a passion for teaching and who want to engage refugee students and volunteers. Our English classes for refugees in Phoenix, AZ, create a connection point for GoTEN's ministry staff, trainees, and volunteers to begin building friendships with refugee individuals and families with the goal of sharing the hope of Jesus with them. Experience teaching ESL is not required, as we use a computer‑based learning approach with a minimized curriculum. However, experience in teaching/teaching ESL would be very beneficial to the classroom. English Class Leaders need to have an interest in teaching weekly classes, working with students from a variety of countries, and making sure that the plan and structure of the classroom are followed consistently.
