You'll be the organizational backbone supporting our plumbing projects from pre-construction through celebration of completion. If you're motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow your career in construction, this is your opportunity to build something meaningful. What You'll AccomplishYour role will evolve as you develop-these responsibilities represent your foundation for growth:Project Coordination ExcellenceMaster project documentation by preparing, reviewing, and processing submittals, RFIs, construction bulletins, and change requests with precisionPrepare and review meeting documentation efforts, capturing critical details, distributing action items, and ensuring follow-throughAssist with strategic site walks to support coordination, track progress, & maintain quality standardsSchedule & Resource ManagementCollaborate on schedule development and monitoring to keep projects on track and aligned with key milestonesCoordinate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring accountability and on-time deliveriesMaintain comprehensive procurement logs, tracking equipment lead times and material flowsProblem-Solving & Team SupportPartner with project teams to identify and resolve field issues before they impact progressSupport successful project closeout by gathering O&M manuals, as-builts, and final documentationChampion a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all project activities What You BringEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field; OR equivalent hands-on field experience1–3 years of construction or MEP experience preferred (strong internship/co-op experience valued)Working knowledge of either MEP systems, construction documents, and/or project workflowsSkills That Drive Success: Technical & Organizational MasteryExceptional organizational abilities with talent for managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong grasp of construction processes and mechanical systems fundamentalsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar platforms a plusUnderstanding plumbing codes and commercial construction practices is a plusCommunication & CollaborationOutstanding written and verbal communication skills that build trust and clarityNatural team player who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environmentsDetail-oriented mindset with commitment to accuracy and follow-throughAbility to maintain professional rapport with clients (i.e. architects, engineers, general contractors, installers, and suppliers) a plus Professional QualitiesSelf-motivated with eagerness to learn and take on new challengesProblem-solving orientation with proactive approach to obstaclesCommitment to safety and quality in all project activitiesWhy 1901 Inc.?Clear Career Trajectory: This isn't just a job-it's your launchpad into project management and beyond.
