Fitness Data Contributor

Help build a de-identified, real-world health dataset by securely contributing an export from your Apple Health app. Your contribution combines HealthKit information, such as activity, heart, sleep, and other applicable data, with clinical records from a connected health provider. Key Responsibilities

• Fully populate the applicable categories in your HealthKit profile. Profiles containing only step data are not eligible.
• Connect health records from at least one qualifying institution through Apple’s Health Records network.
• Ensure the linked record includes immunizations, lab results, medications, vital signs, and clinical notes.
• Provide consent to share four demographic attributes: age, gender, approximate region, and activity level.

• Submit a genuine export from your own Apple Health app. Synthetic and demonstration data are not accepted.
• Include continuous health history, rather than data from only a single day.
• Include records from at least one listed institution through Apple HealthKit.
• Include all required clinical categories, including clinical notes. Clinical notes are mandatory; submissions without them cannot be accepted or compensated and will be returned.
• Consent to all four required demographic attributes. A submission cannot proceed without this consent.

• Remote, one-time contribution.
• Submit one export as a participant, with the option to provide a later re-export to refresh the data.

$60 for the one-time contribution.

Your identity and raw health information are not included in the dataset. Exports are de-identified before analysis using a HIPAA Safe Harbor-style process: identifiers are removed, dates and locations are generalized, and notes are scrubbed. You receive a random ID, while the connection to your identity is stored separately and does not travel with the data. You may withdraw consent at any time to have your data removed.
