Job Title

Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) | Days

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate care to patients in a 29-bed Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 1:4–1:5
• Monitor and document vital signs every four hours or more frequently based on patient condition, and complete required assessments every shift
• Manage and monitor cardiac drips and insulin drips as ordered
• Perform blood glucose checks per physician orders
• Utilize Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn vital signs machines, bladder scanner, and vein finder as needed
• Float to other units within areas of demonstrated competency per staffing policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Georgia
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down setting
• Current ACLS certification
• Proficiency with cardiac drip and insulin drip management
• Ability to document accurately in Meditech electronic health record system
• Compliance with dress code: Royal Blue scrubs; no artificial or gel nails

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented unit environment
• Familiarity with self-scheduling practices and flexibility with shift scheduling
