Critical Care Registered Nurse | Brooklyn, Michigan

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Intensive Care. This contract role offers the chance to deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic critical care environment.


Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract
• Overtime eligibility after 48 hours worked

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a focus on Intensive Care Unit nursing
• At least 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
• Preferred: Prior experience in a trauma Level 2 facility

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Closely monitor patient condition and respond rapidly to any changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support as needed
• Collaborate intensively with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and promptly
• Support families and loved ones, providing education and clear communication regarding care plans
• Maintain strict adherence to facility policies, industry best practices, and infection control protocols
