JOB TITLE Machine Operator DEPARTMENT Warehouse JOB SUMMARY With general supervision, operate machines to move ordered product through the warehouse to shipping. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operate turret truck and/or order picker machines Pick textile rolls from shelves and move to order processing staging area Return unused rollos of textiles back to shelves Stock shelves with newly received textile rolls Load and unload trucks Lift up to 70 lbs. when necessary MAGNITUDE AND RELATIONSHIP REPORTING This position reports to the Warehouse supervisors and may receive additional assignments from the Warehouse Manager. CONTACTS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION This position typically will have contact with all other warehouse employees, and some contact with other departments. Receiving personnel would have contact with truckers. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Self motivated Knowledge of UPS online system a plus Hilo and power jack experience required Able to work in a fast paced environment Detail oriented Able to work independently Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent Warehouse experience preferred Who We Hire? Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
