Senior Cloud Test Analyst IIDPP is seeking a Senior Cloud Test Analyst II for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.Work Location: Onsite in Columbia, SCDuration: 6 monthsTerms: W2 ContractResponsibilities:Involves planning and executing test cases for the portal within the CMS Cloud (built on AWS).The analyst uses TestRail to manage test plans, track execution, and document results, while JIRA is used to log defects and align testing tasks with Agile sprints.They collaborate with developers and business analysts in daily stand-ups, using Confluence to maintain test documentation, user stories, and release notes.The role also includes validating application behavior in cloud environments, supporting compliance testing, and ensuring that all updates meet CMS security and performance standards before deployment.In addition, they complete supportive administrative and lead activities related to cloud testing and collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and continuous improvement.Required Qualifications:Agile Testing and CI/CD Experience.Cloud hosted application(s) testing experience.Identify, track, and manage bugs using TestRail, JIRA/Confluence, or ALM.Testing Tools (e.g., Selenium Grid, JUnit, TestNG, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman).Strong knowledge of lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or cloud migration testing.Design, Develop and execute test strategies, test cases, and automated scripts for cloud-native, containerized, and legacy applications migrated to AWS cloud.Lead functional, regression, integration, system, failover, and performance testing across multi-tier AWS Cloud environments.Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP API testing, SQL, and test automation frameworks.Solid understanding of test data strategy, version control, defect triage, and test metrics reporting.Implement automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, AWS CodePipeline).AWS Services – EC2, IAM, S3, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CodeBuild.Security and compliance testing (HIPAA, FedRAMP, NIST-800).508 / WCAG compliance testing (Burp Suite/OWASP ZAP, WAVE).Medicare Experience.Required Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree;OR 4 years of job-related work experience;OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree.Required Experience:9 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and/or test matrices.Preferred Qualifications:Understanding DevOps practices and helps in managing cloud-based analytics pipelines and deployments.Experience with GitHub Actions, version control, automated testing, and deployment of workflows.AWS Services – DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, Artifact.Soft Skills:Adaptability & Flexibility: CMS and TPA environments are dynamic, with frequent updates, evolving requirements, and shifting priorities.Quickly adjusting test plans based on new requirements or sprint changes and learning new tools or cloud environments as needed.Authorized US Worker - US Citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
