Sr. Program Planner I - Onsite

Position Overview Job Title: Program Management, Planning & Scheduling Professional Location: US-RI-PORTSMOUTH-PS1 ~ 1847 W Main Rd ~ NIMITZ BLDG Role Type: Onsite Security Clearance: DoD Secret, active or existing required after day 1. U.S. citizenship required. Responsibilities Onsite support for development and maintenance of Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project. Detail plan and maintain IMS throughout program lifecycle, incorporating contractual and programmatic changes. Ensure IMS compliance with government customer requirements across all program phases. Resource load IMS for applicable scope with target budgets, demonstrating cost and schedule integration. Conduct detailed analysis of IMS and supporting documents for quality, completeness, and compliance. Communicate schedule status (critical path analysis, variance analysis, what-if exercises) to Planning Lead, Program Manager, customers and senior management. Support EAC and LRE processes related to Program IMS. Assist with development and maintenance of Program Master Phasing Schedule using Milestones Professional Software. Qualifications - Must Have Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of Program Planning, Scheduling, or Project Management experience, or an Advanced Degree and at least 3 years’ experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required. Experience with scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar). Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and evaluating critical path/workflow. Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business processes. Qualifications - Preferred Bachelor’s degree in STEM. Analyzing schedule data, driving paths, schedule metrics, trends, and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA). Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Understanding of product development principles, including Agile software development. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interface and influence at all levels. Experience with APEX, SAP/R3, Microframe Project Manager (MPM), EVMS tools such as Oracle ERP, Deltek Cobra, Deltek MPM Connect. PMP certification by PMI.
