Location: 5959 Randolph St. Commerce, CA 90040

Pay: $22-$27/hour

Shifts:

• 1st Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
• 2nd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Employment Logistics:

Maintenance Technician I Fleet will ensure all fleet trailing equipment is inspected, maintained, and repaired in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as company standards and will ensure a safe working environment for all. The Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• 1+ years related experience and/or training in mechanical setting, or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
• Experience as a semi-trailer maintenance technician preferred.

Your Mission in Motion:

• Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
• Maintain, and provide routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to fleet trailing equipment.
• Work with Safety department leadership to understand and ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed.
• May be required to use personal vehicle or Company vehicle to conduct business for the company.
• Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean-up, conveyor and equipment clean-up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.

Paving your way to your success:

• Ability to learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform primary duties.
• Mechanical work experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate 24 hour operations; occasionally work extended hours, weekends and holidays as needed.
• The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle or feel.
• The physical activity associated with this position is considered high. The employee will regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging up to 125 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to work outdoors in the elements. OnTrac provides PPE for all weather conditions.
• The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
