Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | 36–48 Hours Per Week | Onsite | Weekends Required | Every Other Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients including pediatric populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float within scope of practice to support staffing needs as required
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending RN license in Virginia (must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma Center experience, or at least 2 years of Level 2 Trauma Center experience, including some pediatric experience
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required prior to start
• TNCC required (may submit with TNCC pending, but must be obtained before start date)
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Experience in high-acuity or trauma emergency environments
• Nursys verification readily available at time of submission
