Customer Service Consultant

We're growing and have multiple openings available for customer-focused professionals who enjoy helping people and finding solutions.
As a Performing Loan Consultant, you'll work in a fast-paced call center environment, assisting homeowners with mortgage-related questions and helping customers who have fallen behind on payments develop practical solutions to get back on track.
If you have strong communication skills, enjoy problem-solving, and are motivated by helping others, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Handle inbound customer service calls from homeowners.
- Contact customers with past-due mortgage payments and discuss available repayment options.
- Create customized payment arrangements based on each customer's situation.
- Assist with escrow inquiries, website support, account questions, payoff requests, and other servicing-related matters.
- Process mortgage payments and maintain accurate account records.
- Identify and refer qualified customers for refinancing opportunities.
- Deliver a positive customer experience during every interaction.
- Meet individual and team performance goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus.
- Previous customer service, collections, call center, banking, mortgage, or financial services experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to remain professional and empathetic during difficult conversations.
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Nice to Have
- 1+ year of collections experience.
- Mortgage servicing, lending, or financial services experience.
- Sales experience.
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills.
