Customer Service Consultant

We're growing and have multiple openings available for customer-focused professionals who enjoy helping people and finding solutions.

As a Performing Loan Consultant, you'll work in a fast-paced call center environment, assisting homeowners with mortgage-related questions and helping customers who have fallen behind on payments develop practical solutions to get back on track.

What You'll Be Doing

• Handle inbound customer service calls from homeowners.
• Contact customers with past-due mortgage payments and discuss available repayment options.
• Create customized payment arrangements based on each customer's situation.
• Assist with escrow inquiries, website support, account questions, payoff requests, and other servicing-related matters.
• Process mortgage payments and maintain accurate account records.
• Identify and refer qualified customers for refinancing opportunities.
• Deliver a positive customer experience during every interaction.
• Meet individual and team performance goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus.
• Previous customer service, collections, call center, banking, mortgage, or financial services experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to remain professional and empathetic during difficult conversations.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Nice to Have

• 1+ year of collections experience.
• Mortgage servicing, lending, or financial services experience.
• Sales experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills.
