divh2Cardiovascular ICU Advanced Practice Provider/h2pThe Cardiac Surgery team at Rush University Medical Center is actively recruiting for a Cardiovascular ICU Advanced Practice Provider to join the Heart Vascular Service Line./ppSchedule Shifts:/pulliRotating day and night shifts scheduled in 4-6 week blocks./lili13-hour shifts, averaging 6 shifts over a 2-week period./liliExtra shifts (day or night) are available for those interested./li/ulpClinical Responsibilities:/pulliWork as part of a multidisciplinary team including Cardiac Surgeons and an in-house night Intensivist./liliDeliver comprehensive care to cardiovascular ICU patients, supporting the post-surgical and critical care continuum./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliAPRN candidates must hold Acute Care Certification to be considered./liliApplicants with previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in Cardiovascular ICU is preferred. Relevant RN experience may be considered./li/ulpRush University System for Health is an academic health system whose mission is to improve the health of the individuals and the diverse communities it serves through the integration of outstanding patient care, education, research and community partnerships./ppPosition Summary:/ppThe Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will provider all aspects of care including acute care, well care and chronic care in the urgent care setting for patients of all ages./ppPosition Requirements:/ppNurse Practitioner:/pulliCurrent licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse/liliMaster of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position/liliCurrent certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP)/liliMaintains State of Illinois and Federal DEA license/liliMust maintain Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), and Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) clinical privileges, as applicable./liliCPR, ACLS and PALS certifications./liliExcellent communicator/liliExperience treating patients of all ages/li/ulpPhysician Assistant:/pulliCurrent licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate/liliSuccessful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program/liliCurrent certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants/liliMust maintain Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), and Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) clinical privileges, as applicable/liliExcellent communicator/liliExperience treating patients of all ages/li/ulpRush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, specialty; relevant experience and training; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
