Project Manager PMO (Hybrid - Requires Maine State Residency)

Job Summary:MaineGeneral Health is seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO). Our PMO team is collaborative, approachable, and focused on practical solutions that move the organization forward. You’ll manage a wide variety of projects that strengthen operations, drive measurable outcomes, and directly support our organizational strategy. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with the ability to work remotely up to three days per week.

Job Description:

What You’ll Do

• Lead multiple projects across departments—including IT, IS, Pharmacy, Imaging, Finance, strategic initiatives, workflow improvements, and site transitions.

• Contribute to large-scale, system-wide initiatives alongside fellow PMO team members.

• Develop and manage project scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets aligned with organizational goals.

• Identify and coordinate resources needed for project success.

• Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration.

• Lead project teams, mentor stakeholders, and proactively resolve conflicts.

• Apply project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, etc.) to ensure strong execution and outcomes.

What You Bring

• Proven success managing projects and leading teams, ideally within healthcare or another dynamic environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex group dynamics and build consensus.

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Office Suite) and organizational methods.

• Understanding of project management frameworks (PMBOK, PRINCE2, etc.) and the ability to apply them flexibly.

• A collaborative, curious mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.

• PMP certification and/or a bachelor’s degree in a related field are valued but not required.

• Experience in an Epic-integrated system is valued but not required.

• Ability to work independently while engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
